Scarlet Sessions is a new collaborative project between The S&B and KDIC designed to provide a living catalog of Grinnellians and the music they make through the years. In the series premiere, Ky Klassen `25 shares three original songs with us. These songs carry deep connections to the place and time in which she wrote them, and through the music, Klassen aesthetically expresses her experiences with love, heartbreak, travel, communication, and finding meaning. Consider listening on a wooden porch on a warm Grinnell night in the early fall, under the stars. Or listen wherever you are, and think about where you are and where you've been, both physically and emotionally.
